After selecting the customization for a rally car and then switching between customization pages back and forth, the selected fitment stays, but the widget resets back to "Default". This does not happen with the vehicle variant selection, character customization or race customization.

Dana 2001 Rally Edition starts without a rear spoiler, but once one is fitted, it cannot be removed - going back to a Default option does nothing.
