Overview:
Since there does not seem to be a better place to put this... Locally hosting games is miserable with the current mod list situation. On Arma 3 you would be able to make a mod list to the ends of the earth and save it with 2 clicks and be able to load it whenever you want to play your game. In Arma Reforger that is just not the case.
The current way mods work (Outside of locally hosting) is, you open the workshop tab, you go to mod manager (which is organized by name) and you add the mods, then you have the ability to, using the puzzle piece icon in the corner, make a mod preset, which is great! However, this same courtesy is not applied when it relates to locally hosting.
THE PROBLEM:
Locally hosting has no mod list loading, it has no organization, it's a genuine pain and makes it extremely time consuming to test out mod list without the usage of a dedicated server.
This complaint was reported literally YEARS ago now and there seems to be no steps taken to make the user UI experience better with this regard. Is there any progress being made on this? Is this a "Kick rocks" situation?
Edit:
And more recently, someone mentioned this 5 months ago
