Removing an empty rocket pylon from a helicopter does not refund the supplies used to install it. However, the same pylon can be equipped again for 250 supplies (on UH-1H, on Mi-8t). This allows the pylon to be removed and re-equipped without the initial supply cost being properly refunded.
