A character dies from a mortar shell before the projectile actually reaches the target.
The sequence of events for the players is as follows:
1. The player is within the blast radius.
2. The player dies.
3. While the screen is already black, the player hears the sound of the mortar shell impact and the associated effects.
This issue also occurs when firing from long distances with sniper rifles, helicopters, or ATGM launchers.
However, the problem is most noticeable with mortars.
How to reproduce:
1. Position Player A as far away from the mortar as possible.
2. Player B fires the M-252 mortar at its maximum range.
3. Player A (and nearby players) observe the discrepancy between the moment of death or injury and the visual/audio effects of the shell impact.
