Playing on an MSI Claw handheld with Intel chip. The device presents an integrated XBox controller to Windows.
The game starts up and assumes it is a Playstation controller. All the controller hints are for a playstation controller making the game more or less unplayable unless you already know all the controls.

I looked through the menus but found no way to change to an XBox controller in the game. I searched online and found countless people on Reddit saying to disable Steam input so I tried that. No luck. There was also the suggestion to unplug the controller as the game starts and plug it in after the game is up and running. My controller is integrated in the device so this is not an option.

Preferred solution: Add a controller setting for picking which control I am using manually.
