The crew in the turret of an LAV-25 always dies instantly if a fire starts in the vehicle while the driver has a chance to escape. This is solely fire damage, no ballistic damage accounted for. Tested in Game Master with the Vehicle Crew loadout so they have the fire resistant jumpsuits. I tested this on the BTR-70 and BRDM-2 as well for comparison and both gave the crews a chance to evacuate, with both Soviet and American faction accurate crewmen.
