I am reporting a critical regression in the Experimental build regarding "Collision Presets" in Project Settings. In previous versions, this feature was functional, though the configuration process was quite fragile: changing a single value would often wipe the entire data block, requiring a full reconstruction of the block to force the changes to take effect. Despite this complexity, the system worked and allowed for functional implementation.
Currently, these settings appear to be purely cosmetic. While the presets are correctly defined in the Workbench, they lack any systemic logic. My primary goal and requirement is to regain the ability to add and apply custom "Collision Presets" within the Particle Editor, ensuring the system processes them logically as it did before. This is essential for a mod I am developing that significantly optimizes performance during vehicle engagements. Without a fix for this regression, this unique performance breakthrough will be lost, and its potential benefits for the game's engine will remain unrealized.
