Currently, the screenshot command only allows screenshots to be saved as PNG. I would like to request support for additional image formats, such as JPG and or WebP.
For example, a screenshot taken at UWQHD resolution:
Base64 Support
In addition, with the upcoming Web API, it would be nice to have support for returning screenshots as Base64, for the formats above.
For example:
screenshot ["base64"];
This return the screenshot data as a Base64 encoded string.
When multiple formats are supported:
screenshot ["base64", "jpg"];
screenshot ["base64", "webp"];
This would allow to use the Web API to send screenshots directly to external services without using a DLL or any other local installed tool.
