As fans of the franchise, we continue to enjoy Arma 3, as there is not a single equivalent to this game. Please do not abandon it; keep developing and supporting it so that it continues to grow!

Over the 13 years of Arma 3's existence, the community has created hundreds of zoom mods—proof that players are dissatisfied with the default zoom mechanics. Personally, I’ve never found the perfect zoom mod, as none of them support every weapon from every mods with every DLCs.

I really dislike the zoom in Arma 3; I consider it a form of cheating. In real life, the human eye cannot zoom in on distant objects, but Arma ignores this. Also ingame zoom undermines the value of any optics like binoculars, rangefinders and optical sights.

For this reason, I simply disable the zoom key.

However, even that doesn't work perfectly. In certain situations—such as switching from a launcher that was being aimed through optics—the zoom resets to the primary weapon, which lacks optics. I also lose the ability to "hold my breath" while aiming.

So, guys, please consider any solution for adjusting the in-game zoom settings. It would be a fantastic gift for the community—I am 1000% certain of that. It would be a real treat.

All that’s needed is a zoom level slider (from 0 to 1.0) or at least a single button to disable in-game zooming entirely!

Any methods that work for you to configure this damn Zoom will be gratefully accepted and thank you for this wonderful game!
