Description:
When trying to launch Arma 3 on the latest Windows 11 (version: [填入你的系统版本,如 24H2]), the BattlEye anti-cheat service fails to initialize. The game cannot start. The error prompt states: "Failed to initialize BattlEye Service: Driver Load Error (1275)."
Simultaneously, the Windows Program Compatibility Assistant blocks it with the message: "Unable to load driver on this device. Driver: BEDaisy.sys. The driver cannot load because it is incompatible with a Windows security mitigation called 'Hardware-enforced Stack Protection'."
Steps to Reproduce:
Open Steam on Windows 11.
Click "Play" for Arma 3. BattlEye attempts to load.
The 1275 error appears, and the game fails to launch.
Workaround:
The only known workaround is to disable "Kernel-mode Hardware-enforced Stack Protection" in Windows Security -> Device Security -> Core Isolation, then reboot. However, this reduces system security.
Request:
Please coordinate with BattlEye to update the BEDaisy.sys driver to be compatible with Windows 11's Kernel-mode Hardware-enforced Stack Protection. Many Windows 11 users are currently unable to play the game. Screenshots of the errors are attached.
