The game has become a PvP dump; everyone is trying to survive, not just shoot at each other. The game lacks realism: if there’s a helmet, it should protect the entire head, not just the part that the helmet covers.
Developers, what’s going on with the game? Why do everyone want to duel instead of survive? Why, when I shoot at a player, do they just run around spamming QE and I can’t hit them? Would that be possible in real life? Reduce the turn speed when running, make the tilt for QE slower. The game no longer has the hardcore survival element that everyone loved about it; now it’s just a PvP dump where no one cares about hunger or thirst — everyone just wants to duel. Who the hell needs these motorcycles?? We need realism and hardcore survival — if you don’t know what that is, I’ll tell you now:
More fall animations (since you can’t make fall physics work for everything)
More action animations (crafting animations, tearing clothes into rags, unwrapping bandages, etc.
+ animations for bandaging each limb)
Reducing turn speed while running, reducing tilt at QE.
This isn’t just what I want — it’s what 90% of players want.
I saw on your social media that you’re doing DayZ 2 — at least implement it there.
Please, as a solo indie developer myself, I can say that more players will come to your game after this.
p.s. For hardcore, realism, and the stress of PvP (well, there’s still stress from PvP now, but it will be much more intense).

This reads like a rant after you got slimed out at NWAF by a better player. "Solo indie developer myself" lol give me a break. DayZ is fundamentally a PvP game and I will not elaborate. There's no right way to play the game.
QE is a good mechanic to allow the higher skilled players to beat lower skilled players in fights. It allows you to lean around corners, peak your head out around hard angles, and make the best of tricky corners in indoor fights. No game is 100% realistic. But in real life you'd be keeping your plates toward the target, while also making yourself smaller to the enemy. QE is a fair tradeoff between realism and in-game feasability.
You should have read at least more carefully, bro, I've been dumped many times at military bases, this is dayz, I didn't ask to completely remove qe and completely remove PvP, I just want realism in the game and realistic PvP
What I'm saying is that in a survival game, where survival should be the main focus, it ends up being mostly PvP. I'm saying that instead of sticking their heads out, everyone is just sniffing the wall in first person.
DayZ is advertised as a hardcore survival game, every tip in the pause menu is about survival. Every tip in the loading screen is about survival. "Your voice is your most powerful weapon." The community doesn't match the game at all, on the one hand you have the people who only want to PvP, they want infinite stamina and no reductions because of weight. On the other you have PvE who want to roleplay and do the same. Nobody truly wants to play the game except a select group of people, and they are mocked and ridiculed by cheaters in the game like yourself who think that they know better than anyone else how the world should work.
The points made by coolguy1212 are valid, and express the opinion of someone who truly understands the design goals of a game like DayZ. @coolguy1212 continue to express your opinions друг. You will have many good ideas how to improve the game, and there will continue to be people like this who have nothing to do with their time except put others down because they themselves are unhappy. Recognize and avoid their annoyances.
DayZ should penalize and punish movement more, the reality is that the game is severely feature starved and the engine is bare and basic. I'm a fan of the idea of DayZ, but after enough time in the game, you realize that there isn't much to do in the game. In the end the only thing left is to PvP or seek out interactions, and you reach that point in only a few hours of looting. You should be running into encounters while completing tasks, and not know how it's going to turn out, even if it starts as a conversation. Instead you end up just seeking out encounters and finding nothing because the game is full of bot accounts that cheaters are using to eliminate their down time when they get banned.
You shouldn't be able to spam the lean keys to jiggle side to side, DayZ has a commitment to realism. A feat like this would require a significant amount of strength in the core, as well as endurance.
None of your "jokes" are funny @okonkwo.
Thank you for your post @coolguy1212, continue to have good ideas about DayZ, I have ideas for movement mods I would make for DayZ if the DayZ tools worked on computers that are not microsoft based. I could make this feature you are describing a mod, there are already some mods similar that are more complicated, I could simplify the concept. If you would like to see an abundance of features in DayZ, show your support by liking this comment letting the devs know you want to see the DayZ tools released as a standalone binary, not through steam, or native support for unix like operating systems.
