No need to create the same issue in two spaces

I haven't noticed any lag or stuttering on official; even playing on servers that are farther than ideal for me, driving cars for example is completely smooth. If your server has mods; you should probably do a performance test either selectively without or exclusively without the mods and then compare it to the client performance with the mods.

Mods in this context means any alterations to loot tables or events etc.

The lag im talking about is like a microstutter which is less than micro these days alsting up to 5 seconds. its on all servers, official, community, vanilla or modded. Its slightly less of an issue for me personally with gigabit internet. But still noticeable. and something most people can attest to.

What are you doing when you're experiencing the stutter? What are players doing when they are reporting that they are experiencing the stutter? I've played both official and community as well; I haven't noticed anything that seems like it could be fixed. Rarely there will be some desync; but I don't notice any stuttering that seems like it's being caused by bad logic. What you're describing sounds like something that I would expect from a bad mod.

(I play on an average internet connection myself.)

Standing still. Moving. Doing anything, there is no cause to effect with it. It was introduced when the server optimisations patch came in and is still prevelent.
