If you revert the server to completely vanilla values and clear the server storage, do you still experience the issue?

Yes, I've already done that, doesn't work. I've recently (as mentioned before) visited a few of my favorite community servers as well and have noticed the same thing.

I suppose I could try one more time, perhaps do a full server wipe again, but I doubt this will fix it as I've already done that.

Easily done, I can give you the names of the areas such as Tisy. Tisy is like Wolf-Central. Any time I've gone to Tisy I see wolves. But now they appear to be absent.

I went into a community server and went to Tisy on the Chernarus map for a full 35 minutes, no wolves. That is very unusual, as I've played DayZ for over 4 years. Any time I go to Tisy, at least 90% of the time I see wolves, but not recently.

I would log into an official server and go to Tisy, but that would take me too long to do and I could always get killed before I get any chance of going there.

Every time I go to Zelenogorsk, I at least hear wolves howling in the distance, but recently there has been nothing.

Another wolf hot spot is Kozlovka, just southeast from Zelenogorsk. About 50% of the time wolves spawn there. I camped out there just recently and saw no wolves.

On my LAN server, I have been teleporting like crazy here and there all over the northern area of the Chernarus map and have seen nothing.
